Showcase your upcycling talent by taking part in Remaykit! If you’ve transformed a garment and given it a new life, we’d love to see your work.
You don’t have to be good at sewing, knitting or designing!
We’re also on the lookout for catwalk models of all ages, sizes, and genders to bring these creations to life on stage. In addition, we welcome volunteers with skills in hairdressing, makeup artistry, photography, or videography to help make this event a success.
Businesses are also invited to get involved by sponsoring the event, offering prizes or internships. Join us in celebrating creativity and sustainability!
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
If I submit a creation for the show, do I also need to model it?
No – we will have models who will model your work for you if you don’t want step out on the catwalk.
My sewing skills aren’t that great, but I have upcycled things out of left over material, would this be of interest to you?
Yes! We are interested in seeing all your creative work in upcycling. You don’t have to be a good sewer. If your work can inspire others to reuse and refashion garments, then we would love to have it as part of the show. Please send us pictures of your work to start with.
Is there a deadline for submission of work?
Sooner the better so we can try and include your work but no later than 10 May 2025 when we will be curating the selection.
SUBMIT YOUR WORK
If you are interested in taking part as a designer, please send us some good quality pictures of your work with a short description on what you did, materials you upcycled and if the item has special meaning to you.
