Upcycle and repair workshop

  • Remaykit is excited to be part of the 8th Circular Economy Week #CEweek2025, 20–26 October!
  • Organised by ReLondon, this inspiring week brings together a wide range of organisations across London, the UK, and beyond to celebrate and promote the circular economy—highlighting ways we can all help keep products in use for longer and reduce unnecessary consumption.
  • To mark the occasion, Remaykit hostED a special Mend, Repair & Create workshop on Saturday, 25 October. People who attended got hands-on advice and inspiration from some of the talented creatives who took part in our recent fashion show. 

Participants enjoyed hands on sessions from Prelovedstudiosmerton who offered darning and simple sewing guidance. The Restart Project ran a how to use a sewing machine class and helped attendees mend and repair their clothes. Tipperleyhill known for their vibrant artwork on shop windows and canvas, showcased a new creative upcycling approach by turning old garments into works of art. Whilst Jill Rutter, delivered a master class in sewing with sashiko and the visible mending.
